[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]At Concept Technology we value both professional experience and personal fulfillment. Not only do we offer quality service to our clients, we strive to maintain a work culture that challenges and motivates our employees at work.

bbryantWe want you to get to know the employees who make our organization exceptional. Last month you met Lee Pomeroy, and this month we recognize our lead support analyst BJ Bryant. In the office BJ splits his time between working on support requests at the help desk and guiding and managing our Support Analysts. He is a family man and brings that same care and support he provides at home to his position. Read on to get to know BJ…

On the business side:

Q: What is your most memorable IT challenge at Concept Technology?

A: The first time we faced a ransomware infection was pretty intense. There was very little information about that type of infection at the time, so that made it difficult to develop a game plan. I remember huddling with some of our most knowledgeable team members, speculating and planning. We quickly came to understand how the infection behaved, though, and taking care of a ransomware issue is now a piece of cake. The secret? Good backups!

Q: What is your biggest piece of advice for clients when managing their IT systems?
A: Backups, backups, backups! A solid backup solution is the key to quickly recovering from a multitude of disasters. A disgruntled employee decides to delete the last 6 months of important records? No problem! Restore them from backup. Your network becomes infected with ransomware and the baddies are asking for thousands of dollars to get your important files back? Forget those guys! Wipe/reload the computer and restore the files from backup. There are so many sticky situations that are made stress-free by having backups in place.

On the fun side:

Q: What thought or message would you put in a fortune cookie?

A: Thoughts become things.

Q: You have been given access to a time machine, where and when would you travel?

A: The time at which the very first musical note was hummed, sung, plucked, etc. Imagine the excitement and surprise.

Q: What is your favorite season and why?

A: Autumn. There’s such a sense of nostalgia in the air. It always feels a bit magical.

Q: What is the most important thing to you in life?

A: My Family.

We’re thrilled to have BJ and his family as a part of our team![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][wproto_image image=”10927″ image_size=”500×91″ link_type=”custom” custom_link=”http://concepttechnologyinc.com/technology-self-assessment/” image_align=”aligncenter”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
