You may know North Louisiana as the setting for the wildly popular TV show Duck Dynasty, but to our Administrative Assistant Charli Brown it’s home. She’s also called Germany and Hawaii home and found the perfect souvenir to bring back from each region…Chopstick (a Mixed Terrier) and Rhusky (an Alaskan Malamute)! On the business side:
Q: What are some of your main responsibilities at Concept Technology?
A: My daily routine includes administrative tasks such as generating our daily Utilization & Engineer Report, welcoming our guests, maintaining the appearance of the office, coordinating office catering for our monthly anniversaries, birthdays, group interviews and new hires, along with many other tasks. I’m basically the “go-to” person at Concept Technology!
Q: What’s your most memorable moment at Concept Technology so far?
A: That’s a tough one, there have been a lot of great memories made in the few months that I’ve been here. The one that stands out the most would have to be my very first day. The front desk screen reading “Welcome Charli Brown!” as I first entered, the gift bag and welcome letter waiting on my desk for me, the catered lunch they held in my honor so the team could introduce themselves – it felt like celebrity treatment! I don’t know that I’ve ever felt more welcomed anywhere in my life.

Q: What thought or message would you put in a fortune cookie?
A: Life is short. Who do you need to call today?
Q: What is one item that you really should throw away but probably never will?
A: I have this sentimental attachment to greeting cards that have been given to me. Even though there’s no way they’d ever know, it’s almost that I feel like I’m telling the person “I don’t care about this card you sent me” if I throw it away. So I just don’t. I keep nearly all of them in a box in my closet. Will I ever open that box and read them again? Meh.
Q: What is the most important thing to you in life?
A: That’s easy, Jesus.
