Giving Back: Making Our Community a Better Place

Our core values ensure that we always act in the best interest of our clients and that we enhance the lives of our team members and their families. But we don’t stop there. We also are very engaged in our local community. We love working with businesses in and around Nashville, and we want to help ensure the well being of the people in this city where we live and work.
In addition to our regular community service outings and projects – like our recent volunteer day at Second Harvest Food Bank – we give a donation to a different local non-profit client every month. The best part? Those donations are based on the work we do and the feedback we get from our clients.
Here’s how it works:
- After we provide IT support to a Nashville-area business, and the service request is closed, our client receives a simple survey about the work we performed.
- Every time a survey is completed, Concept Technology donates $1 to a charity.
- Each month, we select a different organization to partner with.
Easy, right? You fill out a survey, and we give to someone in need.
Why do we do it?
By providing IT support for nonprofit organizations, we have been able to see and understand their businesses. We believe in the work they do and want to support them just as they support others. Through our survey donations, we can monitor the IT support we provide, get valuable feedback that helps us better serve our clients and contribute financially to these organizations. We realize that people don’t always have the time to fill out a survey – even if it is simple. But this “incentive” to fill it out benefits more than just us or the company we serviced; it helps people throughout Nashville.
This month, we are featuring Hands On Nashville as our charity. Based on the surveys we receive throughout March, we’ll be able to donate to their organization and help keep them up and running in more ways than just their IT network.

Our team spent time together removing harmful plants and making the greenway a more enjoyable, and scenic, place to be.
And that’s really our goal: we want to make our community – our team of IT experts, the awesome businesses we work with and our entire Nashville area – a better place.
