Harvesting Happiness with Second Harvest Food Bank

We work hard to ensure the happiness of our employees, and we work even harder to achieve client satisfaction. Beyond Concept Technology and IT support, dedication to people means just that – a commitment to making a positive impact on those around us.
Recently, we participated in a volunteer day at Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, a non-profit organization and client of ours whose mission is to feed hungry people and work to solve hunger issues.
Concept Technology team members sorted more than 11,000 pounds of food into boxes that went to 500 establishments across Middle Tennessee. Soup kitchens, homeless shelters, after-school programs and other charitable organizations benefit from the food we packaged, donated by 200 grocery stores.
Volunteering in the community is always gratifying, but it’s easy to forget about the importance of giving back. Donating time, elbow-to-elbow with our coworkers, made as much of an impact on us as we made for Second Harvest that day.
